I heard you talk about choosing to support your daughter or your wife and wanted to share this story with you…

A Navy officer once told the story of how he came home from work and found his daughter on the front step.  She proceeded to start complaining about what her mom did, etc.  And he replied, "That woman is my wife, and the mother of my child.  If you think I will be taking your side, you need to understand she has given me the greatest gift - and has always been there for me, before you were born, and will be after you move out. If you have a problem, you need to solve it with her."

He didn't know his wife was just inside, and could hear him...
